Meet FPS Parents as Teachers

Emily Knipe and Kari O'Neal

My name is Emily Knipe and this is my first year as a Parent Educator. I also coach Cross Country and Track & Field at FMS. I have been married for 10 years and we have three kids. My husband also coaches at FMS and FHS and our oldest plays multiple sports so we are always on the go. In my free time I enjoy running and reading.

My name is Kari O'Neal and I have been a parent educator for Fulton Public Schools for 14 years. I have been married for 19 years and I have two boys. With my husband being a coach for football and baseball and my boys participating in sports, we stay busy!!

We love getting to know new families in their homes. As parent educators, we believe the parent is the child's first teacher! Our job is to help you prepare your child for school readiness. If you sign up for Parents as Teachers, we will have fun watching your child grow and learn!
